Zombie Spider

This week has been busy busy busy! We've done about 12 hours of service in the past week! its been pretty good though becuase at one of the service projects we were able to talk to a lady who has been super interested in the book of mormon (so we gave her one of course) , and we ran into a lady who left the church a long time ago and has been wanting to come back! So we are going to meet with her this week! So those were some cool experiences!

I also had the nice surprise of going to eat breakfast yesterday and having all of my food infested with ants.... so that wasnt very good  Weve also had a spider in our apartment at least once a week this week so I think Gods trying to toughen me up or something  

This morning we had an especially traumatic experience with what we call the zombie spider. I was cleaning the bathroom and spraying bug spray in each corner and a spider came crawling out of one of them. It looked almost dead but I sprayed some windex on it for good measure becuase I've watched "my big fat greek wedding" enough times to know that windex fixes everything. Then, sister curtis kindly volunteers to squish it with a paper towel/throw it away and as shes doing this it JUMPS OUT and RUNS up her arm!! So she screams and shakes it off her arm and it runs under the bathroom mat.... so then we shake out the mat and spray it with our insect killer real good (again) and now it's all shriveled up so of course its dead... 

But we are both too traumatized to pick it up so we just kind of watched it for a while. Then we kind of leave for a couple minutes and when I pass by... I see that its legs are kinda sticking up a little and I'm like hmm I dont remember that and then it all the sudden just emerges from the little black blob into a running spider again!!!! So I start screaming ITS STILL ALIVEEEEEEE and I sprayed soooooo much bug killer on it that there was like a puddle in the middle of our bathroom! At that point it was in a couple different pieces so it was finally defeated. So I cleaned it up. So that's the story of the zombie spider.

So, on a lighter, much happier note.... CJ GOT BAPTIZED! Things went super well and the members literally did everyyyything for the baptism! All we had to do was fill up the font! And we had so many people come and he had so many of his football buddies come to both the baptism and the confirmation on Sunday so it was just really good. It couldn't have been better! I am so happy for CJ and his decision to be baptized becuase he did it all on his own. Even though his girlfriend is a member, he made it very clear that he wasnt doing this for her... he did it all becuase he knew it was true becuase he prayed about it. CJ is so awesome and he is going to do lots of great things!

Well, it was a great Easter week! It was such a great week to talk about all that the saviors done for us. I am so grateful that I can share this message with these people! (Also, mom sent me and curtis lots of goodies so that was nice ;) )
