Tucson, Moms, and Cheese Week
May 13, 2019
Hello friends!
Hello friends!
I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning)
The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training! I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!
We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her...
️I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha
Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out here... the senior couple out here takes good care of us, and sister demill even made our district aprons this week! She is so sweet and we love her so much. I am especially grateful for my sweet momma that has been the biggest support to me my whole life
I have felt the spirit so strong this week as I studied for and gave a talk on the atonement, as weve talked to brother quinn (who is extremely excited to be baptized), as we felt prompted to visit Ray (someone we are teaching but haven't been able to catch all transfer), and countless other times this week. This work is a good one and I just love it!
Thanks for all you guys do!
