Hellooooooo! Wow! I am just one happy girly!

We have been busyyyyyyyy this week! We've just been super motivated to shape up silver city!

Side note- I realize more and more every day how weird this place is. There are just a lot of weird people here. It's a good time.

But we had a fun week! We went on exchanges, one of the people we are teaching brought his bird outside for us to see, we ate some ice cream, met some cool people, killed some spiders, and we had a really cool thing happen at the branch we cover!

So sister curtis and I cover two wards and a branch... and our branch is like supppppeeerrr tiny. There are literally 9 people that come... so it's called a "twig" instead of a branch sometimes..... But anyways! We started teaching someone and invited her to church about a month ago and she came! And she loved it! And yesterday when we went to church at this branch (it's about an hour from where we live) we found out from the members that she got her husband to watch general confrence then she got him to come to church! He is a member but hasn't been to church since they've been married so we are just wayyyy excited because it has been a long time for this branch to have someone new. We also visited 12 people after church that live in this branch so we kept really busy!

I also had a really cool experience at church yesterday when one of the high council members was speaking and he referenced that story of Jesus talking to Simon and he asked him 3 times "love at thou me?" And Simon eventually replies, "Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee." Then Jesus replies, "Feed my sheep." And I honestly cant remember why this guy told this story and I know I've heard it a million times but all of thsu sudden it made sense to me! If I love my savior, I need to "feed his sheep"/ do all I can to help these weird new mexicans and bring them to Christ! I dont know, it was just really cool and meant a lot to me becuase I was kind of starting to run out of greenie fuel and needed a little boost ya know?

So yeah. I just wanted to share that. Becuase it applies to more than just missionary work... it applies to everyone! We can show Christ we love him by the way we treat others :)

( ALSO! I got to call my dad on Wednesday night for his birthday so that was way coooool! It was so weird to call home on a Wednesday night after 9pm haha, but it definitely made my whole week! )

(Also tomorrow will be 3 months since entering the mtc!! Its gone so fast!!)
