Best Week Everrrrrr

Holy frijoles! This week was jam packed with goodness!!! We had exchanges, lots of service projects, BROTHER QUINNS BAPTISM, cheese night, lots of face masks, we made a nerf gun course in our apartment, and we went to the Gila Cliff Dwellings today!!! and I'm sure theres a lot more I forgot about...

Anywaysssssssss...the baptism went soooooo well! He was so excited and happy! It was also kind of funny cuz the guy that baptized him called him by his nickname, so after the whole program, we had to baptize him again! And we just had a private little baptism with a couple people haha

I want to share a little bit about brother quinns conversion story! Brother Quinn was at a train station last summer in Lordburg New Mexico, about an hour away from here, and remembered that he had a relative from silver city NM... he then told his wife that he wanted to move to Silver City! She thought he was crazy but... long story short, they moved here in November so that he could "reinvent himself". Even though he had bad experiences with missionaries in the past, he finally let his wife have the missionaries over for dinner, becuase this was the NEW Bill Quinn! Then, with the help of the spirit, he decided that he'd like to take lessons from the missionaries!

There were a lot of things that he hard time accepting, but each time as he learned more, he was able to understand those things mentally and spiritually.

Then! The big miracle of him actually deciding he wanted to be baptized came after he sincerely prayed for the first time!! There is power in prayer!!

We are so grateful for Brother Quinn, and especially Sister Quinn for holding onto her faith, and being a great example to him for 42 years! So many miracles and blessings have been involved with Brother Quinn and his conversion, and I am so glad that I have been able to watch the Lords hand in action!
